( for some reason you've found yourself at a party. the decor is simple, but elegant. things are mostly decorated in a blue and green motif, heavy on the seafoam shades. there's dinnerware placed neatly across a well set table, and a large cake at the center that reads;

'happy birthday, michiru!' in script )

Hmm. Am I forgetting anything...? ( a slender teal-haired woman stands near the table )

( usagi's hovering around near the cake... it's looking pretty delicious from whatever angle she's at, though. what she wouldn't give to juse have a taste of that delicious looking frosting...! she think she's being stealth, creeping up from below the table and reaching out with her index finger -- )

[Comes up from behind Usagi, side eyes. Puts hand on shoulder.]

( she jumps ) UWAHH!! Mako-chan! ( caught in the act? who's caught in the act?? ) Don't sneak up on me like that!

[Folds her arms and gives a laugh.]

You really should see your face!

[Gives a wink as she wags her finger at Usagi.]

Still~ You shouldn't be eyeing the cake like that Usagi-chan, you have to wait a bit till Ms. Michiru blows out the candles, right?

But... ( yep, she's pouting a little bit ) It looks so good I just want to have a taste!! ( she presses her index fingers together as her bottom lip curls up ) But I guess you're right...

[Gives a chuckle.]

I'm sure if you ask nicely Michiru will let you have a big slice.

One with lots of icing, I hope! ( she beams just thinking about it. drool-age is most likely happening as she laughs loudly ) I wonder what kind it is! Chocolate? Maybe vanilla... I can't tell from the outside!

[She tilts her head.]

It does look really good doesn't it?

I'm sure either way, it'll be delicious!

Ah!! It might even be an ice cream cake! I can't wait to try it... ( then the lights go off ) Ne... did you get a present for Michiru-san? ( because... she might have forgotten to get one, you see... )

[Did someone hire a musician for this party? A pianist?

No? Then why does there seem to be fluid piano music wrapping itself around the entire gathering? And a calm, white-haired young man standing off to the side.]

Eh? ( the music catches her a little off guard. sure, haruka plays, but... she was no where to be seen for the moment. not to mention there wasn't a piano anywhere she could see... so where could it be from?? nosy as ever, its drawing her attention away from the sweets for a moment as she tries to follow it... ) Where's that coming from? ( she's poking her head into every door or hallway she passes, drawing closer and closer to the white haired man ) Maaa... if Minako-chan were here she'd be able to help me...

[His voice is soft and low, but somehow has no trouble carrying.]

Princess.

[He does not precisely use it as an endearment; but, at least, nor does he make any threatening move. Acknowledgment, perhaps, and nothing more.]

( she perks up at that. she's not so used to being referred to as 'princess' especially in a relaxed setting like this, but... its definitely enough to steal her attention fully ) You're... ( there's something familiar about this man... its not necessairily his face that triggers it... but his energy... )

One of the shitennou, Zoisite. [He makes no effort to hide that from her. Pale grey eyes meet bright blue.

He is also the spitting image of the Kunzite she once knew - and fought.]

Sh-shitennou... ( why yes, odd little man... your familiarity is not lost on her... though your being here is quite a surprise ) Then... that means... you were reborn? With the others?! ( she looks around, trying to see if she can quickly spot any of the other fallen generals -- )

We were revived by Queen Beryl. You, the princess, should already know this.

[He makes no effort to excuse it, or the existence it made them live.]

( but she saw you die after that, zoi... she doesn't want to press the subject however... and so, studies you for a moment longer with a bit of a sympathetic expression ) That's right, but then... the Dark Kingdom... ( aka -- you're not attacking any of them... are you sure you're evil? )

because they should all know better than to hold parties without inviting the resident creepers.

[The voice is too bright, and sharp. It's hard to believe it belongs to the same person as the soft-spoken Ami of past years.]

Let's make this birthday memorable. [Something about the cold smile doesn't bode well for this idea.]

Yaa! Ami-cha-- !! ( she turns, expecting to see the ami she's familiar with... but is instead greeted by this mature lady... ) aaann... ( she freezes for a moment, finally picking up on those subtlties. she takes a half step back. what's... this feeling of hostility? )

I just came to offer my birthday greetings! With a few friends.

You'll accept anyone, right? So it's alright if youma are here.

[The implication, of course, is that they're either laying in wait somewhere, or she can call them any time.]
