She gasped out a sob, the tears she'd been struggling against breaking free. The feel of his embrace, after so long, was too much for her pride to withstand. Tilting her head back, she leaned back into him, feeling the world fade away around them until it was only him. She was afraid to turn around and face him, to see for sure if it was all real and not just a desperate hope, but her heart sang true.
